Contractors, get ready for an electrifying day of connection and opportunity! The Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority (VTA) will host the 2nd Annual Contracts & Contacts event, set to take place on:

The event is an opportunity for small and disadvantaged business enterprises to learn about and get involved in contracting opportunities with VTA infrastructure projects, making connections with prime contractors who regularly work on these projects. This year, we’re turning up the volume with more exhibitors, new features, and expanded partnerships to fuel business growth like never before!
Last year’s first annual Contracts and Contacts brought together 42 exhibitors to connect with small businesses and explore contract opportunities. This year, the number of exhibitors has grown to 65 including:
- VTA’s Contracts and Procurement Teams from various departments, ready to share insights and opportunities.
- Government and sister agencies, expanding the network of potential partnerships.
- Community-Based Organizations (CBOs) and resource partners, offering support and resources.
- Prime contractors looking to forge new collaborations.
- New this year: Financial Institutions offering business products to support growth.

We’re rolling out a brand-new feature to help small businesses shine: free professional headshots! Whether you’re updating your LinkedIn profile or marketing materials, these headshots will elevate your professional presence and make a lasting impression. - Expanded Partnerships
In a unique offering, financial institutions will meet with SBEs and DBEs to help support business growth, joining our existing lineup of VTA teams, government agencies, community organizations, and prime contractors. This diverse mix ensures a richer experience for all attendees, with more resources and opportunities at your fingertips. - A Revitalized Focus on Business Growth
Building on last year’s success, the Office of Business Development Programs (OBDP) is doubling down on connecting businesses with contracts and fostering new partnerships. This event is your gateway to exploring upcoming projects with VTA and sister agencies, all while networking with a vibrant community of professionals.
