Weeknight Football at Levi's Requires Commuters to Plan Ahead

The first weeknight preseason game of 2019 happens tonight at Levi’s Stadium when the 49ers take on the Los Angeles Chargers, and we want to get fans there and back, and other commuters where they need to go, as efficiently and quickly as possible,

If you’re going to the game, you probably know the drill: special service will begin after the 4th quarter, so if you leave the game early, please know that VTA light rail will run its regular service every 15 minutes.

If you’re not going to the game, we encourage you to give yourself additional time for your afternoon commute, because the trains will be full. This goes for bus lines 55, 57, 60, 121, 321 as well.

As for the upcoming holiday weekend, please note there will be holiday service running on Labor Day, Monday, September 2. Also, due to on-going rail rehabilitation work, we will be operating a Bus Bridge August 31-September 2, for the light rail Blue (901 Alum Rock to Santa Teresa) and Green (902 Winchester to Mountain View) Lines northbound & southbound between Gish & Santa Clara St. stations.

We apologize for the inconvenience and will provide additional updates as they become available.  Have fun at the game, go 9ers! And have a safe and happy holiday weekend.
