The Federal Transit Administration's Pilot Program for Expedited Project Delivery allows the administration to select up to eight capital transit projects for expedited grant awards.
Qualifying projects must
- Be supported through a public-private partnership
- Be operated and maintained by employees of an existing public transportation provider
- Have a federal share not exceeding 25 percent of the project capital cost
