Northbound Capitol Expressway (between Ocala Avenue and Story Road) will be closed with detours in place. Crews require a full road closure at night to complete this work safely, with minimal impacts to traffic.
Crews will be hauling in and installing an elevator tower that forms the east pedestrian overcrossing.
Use King Road or White Road to continue traveling Northbound. Use Story Road to get back onto Capitol Expressway.
Adjacent community members may hear construction noises, including voices, hammering, items dropping/clanging, and backup alarms from heavy equipment. Residents may also see lights necessary to illuminate the worksite.
