Northbound S. Capitol Ave (between Capitol Expressway and Westboro Drive) will be closed with detours in place. Crews require a full road closure at night to complete this work safely, with minimal impacts to traffic.
Crews will be pouring concrete onto the deck structure above the road.
Adjacent community members may hear construction noises, including voices, hammering, items dropping/clanging, and backup alarms from heavy equipment. Residents may also see lights necessary to illuminate the worksite.
