VTA would like to inform motorists that there are currently no scheduled daytime or overnight construction activities planned for the week of May 25–29, 2026, along the I-280/Wolfe Road Interchange Improvements Project corridor.
At this time:
- No lane closures are scheduled
- No overnight construction work is planned
- No traffic switches are anticipated
- No tree removal operations are scheduled during this period
Several planned environmental operations, including tree removal activities, remain temporarily delayed due to ongoing environmental constraints involving:
- Active bird nest monitoring and protection
- Wood rat habitat activity and relocation requirements
Motorists should continue to use caution when traveling through the corridor, as crews and equipment may still be present intermittently for monitoring or maintenance-related activities.
VTA appreciates the public’s patience and cooperation as the project team works through required environmental coordination efforts.
