Map showing the Wolfe Road on-ramp to northbound I-280 closed beginning the night of October 2, 2026. Drivers should use the existing loop on-ramp for the northbound route. A temporary traffic signal at the intersection is scheduled to go live the same night, October 2, 2026. Daytime work hours are 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.; overnight work hours are 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. Map is oriented with north at the top right.

What is changing?

  • The Wolfe Road on-ramp to northbound I-280, near the Marriott Hotel, will be closed to traffic.
  • This closure is needed so crews can build the foundation for the new bridge and construct retaining walls along the right side of I-280.

What will drivers need to do?

  • Drivers traveling northbound on Wolfe Road who want to travel northbound on I-280 will be directed to use the existing loop on-ramp instead.

When will the closure begin?

  • The ramp closure is currently scheduled to begin the night of October 2, 2026.
  • This will be a long-term closure expected to remain in place for approximately one year while construction of the new overcross bridge and retaining walls takes place.

Important

Construction schedules are subject to change based on field conditions, material availability, weather, and contractor operations. Drivers and community members should follow posted signs and traffic-control instructions in the field.
