This month, Silicon Valley is welcoming the world. With the FIFA World Cup in full swing, the energy across the region is unlike anything we've seen in years. And while the matches and watch parties have drawn huge crowds, there's another celebration worth your time right in the heart of Downtown San Jose.
Downtown’s 18th annual restaurant week, Dine Downtown San Jose, runs concurrently with the World Cup finale, from July 9 -19. It brings together dozens of local restaurants for 11 days of special offers, prix fixe menus and culinary showcases. It's a great opportunity to explore what Downtown San Jose has to offer! With parking and traffic expected to be more challenging than usual during World Cup week, VTA Light Rail and bus services offer a convenient, stress-free way to get there.
A World of Flavors, Close to Home
Downtown San Jose's dining scene reflects the diversity of our community. This year's Dine Downtown participants offer a genuinely impressive range of international cuisines:

- Oaxacan Mexican: Immerse yourself in the rich, authentic tastes of Mexico with a stop at Mezcal for their famous house-made moles.
- Japanese Sushi: Roll up to Sushi Confidential for creative, high-energy sushi plates and great cocktails.
- Cambodian & Asian Fusion: Sample rich, authentic Cambodian dishes at Angkor Chef, or pair up with Nomikai for an amazing, modern social lounge vibe featuring fantastic fusion bites.
- More Cuisines Represented: Cuban, Thai, Portuguese, Soul Food, Mexican, French Inspired, Seafood, Italian, New American, Modern Californian, and Vegetarian / Vegan options.
