Ditch the traffic and celebrate America’s 250th birthday right in your backyard! Join District 8 Councilmember Domingo Candelas, VTA, and your San Jose community at Lake Cunningham Park for an epic, family-friendly celebration. Expect a day packed with fun activities, live music, delicious eats, and a spectacular drone light show to cap off the night!

Doors open at 6:00 p.m.

Drone show starts at 9:00 p.m.

 There will be no event/onsite parking

Leave the traffic and parking stress behind! Take VTA Bus Routes 22, 26, 31, 39, 70, 71, 77, 103, or Rapid 522 straight to the Eastridge Transit Center. From there hop on a free City of San Jose shuttle from the JCPenney Parking Lot (Tully Rd) to and from Lake Cunningham Park from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM.

Make your trip seamless: Use the Transit app and Clipper mobile to map your route, check schedules, and get real-time navigation. With VTA handling the ride, you can focus on the fun.
