2016 Measure B
How Are Your 2016 Measure B Taxes Being Spent?
07/20/2021

We encourage you to tune in to an upcoming public hearing to see how your 2016 Measure B taxes are being put to use. (This meeting was rescheduled from May 26, 2021.)

Santa Clara County voters overwhelmingly passed Measure B in November 2016 to enhance transit, highways, expressways, and active transportation (bicycles, pedestrian, and complete streets) within Santa Clara County. The 30-year, half-cent countywide sales tax came with a commitment to be monitored by a citizens oversight committee to ensure that Measure B funds are being spent as intended, and to inform voters on program compliance. The 2016 Measure B Citizens-Oversight Committee (MBCOC) is charged with that responsibility.

Some of the many projects/programs underway include local streets/roads repair and improvements; highway interchanges; and bicycle/pedestrian projects.

We invite you to join us during our virtual public meeting to provide input:

Wednesday, July 28 at 12 p.m.
