49ers and Kansas City players on field
We KNOW You’re Ready for Some Football!

It’s been a while, but 49er’s fans will soon be back in the seats at Levi’s Stadium and VTA can get you there.

While VTA is working hard to restore light rail service, it is not yet an option for the Saturday, August 14 game against the Kansas City Chiefs. So, VTA will run direct bus service from two major transit points in the South Bay, non-stop, to the stadium.

Buses will run every ten minutes from the Milpitas Transit Center, served by BART, directly to the stadium beginning at 2 p.m. In addition, direct, non-stop bus service will run from the Mountain View Transit Center, served by Caltrain, connecting with Caltrain’s hourly service, beginning at 2 p.m.  There is ample parking at both transit centers, to catch the bus service if you’re not taking BART or Caltrain.

Direct, non-stop service back to both of those locations will run until approximately an hour after the end of the game.  You can find more information about transit service to Levi’s here, or call VTA Customer Service for trip planning help at 408-321-2300.

Please keep in mind, in order to pay the $2.50 fare each way you’ll want to download the EZFare mobile app, have your Clipper Card loaded, or have exact change if paying fares in cash. VTA light rail ticket vending machines will not dispense 8-hour excursion passes.
