Post-Event Return Service
Additional bus and Light Rail return service will operate for up to one hour after the event. Head directly to your designated return boarding location after leaving the stadium.
Light Rail riders should enter the queue lines on the Gate A side of Levi's Stadium, facing Tasman Drive.
Planning tip: If your station is not listed, use the two nearest timepoints to estimate the train's arrival. Arrive at the platform at least five minutes early.
Fares & Payment Options
Pay with Clipper or Cash
You can add a Clipper card to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet before traveling.

On your iPhone

- Open the Wallet app and select the plus (+) button.
- Select Transit Card.
- Select Clipper card, then choose Continue.
- Choose the amount you want to add and follow the prompts to complete your purchase.
On your Apple Watch
- Open the Wallet app on your Apple Watch.
- Scroll down and select Add Card.
- Select Transit Card, or select Previous Card to add a card already associated with your Wallet.
- Select Clipper card, then choose Continue.
- Choose an amount and select Add Money.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to confirm your purchase.
Google Wallet
- Open the Google Wallet app or download it from Google Play.
- Select + Add to Wallet.
- Select Transit Pass, then choose San Francisco Bay Area, CA.
- Follow the instructions on your phone to add your Clipper card.

- Buses accept exact cash fare when Clipper is not used.
- Light Rail ticket vending machines accept cash or cards for passes when Clipper is not used.
Buy Your Ticket
Download the Clipper mobile payment app and load cash value on to a virtual Clipper card. Each rider must have their own Clipper Card.
Get a Clipper card from any Clipper card retail location, including VTA's Downtown office (Clipper for youth & seniors)
Connecting from BART or Caltrain
VTA’s Orange Line connects with Caltrain at Mountain View Station and with BART at Milpitas Station, providing convenient service to Levi’s Stadium.
Important fare information: If you are purchasing a VTA fare at Mountain View or Milpitas, use a VTA ticket vending machine.

Joint Caltrain + VTA Day Pass
Caltrain offers a joint adult Caltrain + VTA Day Pass in addition to its regular Day Pass.
The Caltrain portion is valid through Zone 3, making it suitable for customers traveling to Levi’s Stadium. The joint pass costs an additional $7.50 compared with a regular Caltrain Day Pass.
The pass is valid on Caltrain through the last train of the night and on VTA local buses and Light Rail until 3 a.m.
Do not purchase the joint Caltrain + VTA Day Pass at Mountain View Station. Purchase your Caltrain fare separately, then purchase your VTA fare from a VTA ticket vending machine.
Post-Event Connections to BART and Caltrain
After the event, head directly to your designated return boarding location to help ensure you make your connecting BART or Caltrain service.

VTA ambassadors will be stationed at key locations, including Mountain View Caltrain Station and Milpitas BART Station, to direct riders to boarding locations and provide travel information.

Customers can ride VTA to Levi’s Stadium for all events, including events without additional special service.
