Located in the cities of Cupertino and Los Altos, this project will widen the northbound I-280 off-ramp to Foothill Expressway from one to two lanes to improve traffic weaving operations between this off-ramp and the SR 85 connector. Improvements will be constructed within Caltrans right-of-way including widened ramp shoulders, installation of a new concrete barrier along the ramp, new striping and signing, and replacement of the existing overhead exit sign and streetlights.
